Starting Over

I think it's time for a change in my blog. Do you prefer this new template, or did you like the old one better?

I think the new template is fun. It does show the stats on the top, but they can probably be hidden somehow.d

I tried to figure out how to put the stats somewhere else, but so far it hasn't worked. I'm going to tweak it some more.

Which do you like best ? I prefer a white background but that's because my blog is very image focused and I think the photos, illustrations & the inspirational images I usually post show up & "show off" better on a white background.

It's good to think of your blog almost as a Judy brand (blue girl in a red state). What would your brand look like if Judy was a brand. If you think about what your blog is saying choosing a layout and colours to match that message helps make your blog really gel with the writing.

Happy Sunday !!

Oh dear.... I can't remember the old template now. Sad, but true; must be my age!

Very interesting idea, Susan. I will think about my "brand". I agree with your thinking about your own blog being image focused. I'm not sure I have a focus... I just ramble.

Rachel, I'm just glad you're visiting here. With all your moving, you took the time to come here. Love your new place, by the way.

I am like Rachel... poor memory about these things, and I agree with Susan about choosing a template that serves your message... which makes me anxious to take a closer look at my own template...
Golly, I am basically no help. But the template looks good. Guess it's a matter of deciding if the look is good for you...

It's no wonder my old one is not memorable. It was just plain white with black outlines around the sections. I like this one for summer, but I will need a new one when the seasons change.

Susan made hers distinctive with her own designs, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. But I am experimenting, which I think is good.

Happy experimenting Judy - it's half the fun. I like what you've come up with.
