The Today Show is on as we go about our morning routine. This morning they are airing from Ireland in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
There is a feature on about Irish step-dancing. A dancer is teaching Al Roker and Meredith Viera some steps, which involve a lot of fast footwork and hopping. This is nice, so what is ridiculous about it?
Meredith is doing this in five-inch high stilleto boots. Sorry, but I find that just crazy!

Yes, the views are beautiful and I love seeing the farmers and shepherds at work.
A few years ago a friend and I drove around the Irish countryside in a tiny rented car. We took the narrow country roads and visited out-of-the-way places. It was wonderful! We visited pubs with dogs lying by the fireplaces, and saw farmers with their Border Collies. We got lost a couple of times and local people stopped to help us out. One lady even invited us in for tea! I found the scenery breathtaking and the people delightful.
