I believe these people are heroes. They are in Japan, rescuing animals that have been lost or stranded in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami. Most of them are pets that have been separated from their owners.
They bring food and blankets and cages. They take them to shelters.
Vets come to check them and care for them.
Many have been reunited with their owners.
I am tempted to fly to Japan and join these heroes, but that's not possible for me.
But I am going to donate to the cause. They need all the help they can get.
My heart has gone out to them, to the animals, their owners, and those who are rescuing them.
