Maybe I Need A Concierge Doctor
Before we moved away from Pennsylvania, our doctor told us he was opening a concierge practice. For an annual fee, we would have our own personal doctor with extra access and personal attention.
I needed that this weekend. They let me go from the out of town hospital with pain medicine and an antibiotic. I had been receiving two different antibiotics by IV.
I've been experiencing more pain than I think I should and I wonder if the one antibiotic is enough. Of course, they said to check with my doctor at home. The problem is I can't see my doctor until Tuesday. We got home Friday night, but can't see the doctor for three days. Holiday weekends are not a good time to get hold of doctors.
My husband is losing patience because he has been suffering from gout in one foot. He's been taking care of me, but hasn't been in a very good mood. Where can we turn? We each need a caretaker. I have to give credit to my sister and brother-in-law in Michigan. They called our hotel and paid for our extra days in the hotel so my husband wouldn't stress about it. How about that for family? It's wonderful. Thanks guys!

That's so kind of them. I hope you both feel better soon. x
Just being at home again makes me feel better. I have an appointment to follow up with my doctor this morning.
Oh my goodness - have just been catching up with you. What a dreadful time you've been having! Get well soon. x
I'm at home, which automatically helps. I just came home from my doctor, who made sure I'm taking the right medicine. Now all I have to do is rest and heal. Thank you for the good wishes.
