Berries are my favorite food. I eat them every day.
For breakfast or lunch I make a blueberry smoothie, made with Greek yogurt and protein powder.
I keep frozen raspberries in the freezer, and eat them on top of oatmeal.
Of course, an all-time favorite... strawberry shortcake!
Yesterday I made blackberry muffins. The recipe made 12 muffins; they were all gone by 10:00 this morning! (My husband loves berries too.)
One of my favorite desserts, a berry tart. I will even choose it over chocolate, which my chocoholic friend just doesn't understand!
Also, berry bars and berry crumble:
They never last long around my house. Usually they are gone within a couple of hours.
More good news about berries... they are good for you! What could be better?

Yeah for all types of berries! Do you grow some in your yard? Mom grows raspberries + grapes. Tail wags. ~moose

Hi Moose! No, I don't grow them in my yard, but I do have an apple tree. You're lucky to have them in your yard.

Berries are a little bit tart for my liking and sugar and sweeteners are a problem in our house, but I do love strawberries in fruit salad though or on pancakes, and the strawberry shortcake looks divine!
I usually drizzle a little honey if they're too tart, but on top of pancakes, with a little maple syrup (as in the photo) the strawberries are sweet enough. Strawberries, blueberries and blackberries are usually sweet enough for me, but raspberries are often too tart.
