Last week we went back to Philadelphia to visit friends and attend a wedding. We are back home now, and I have been going through the photos I took while we were there. Here are some of the images that appeal to me.

Blog Friends

Having a blog friend is like having a pen pal. You exchange ideas, and photos, and news of your daily life. You share experiences, feelings, and discoveries.

I discovered blogging a few years ago, and developed a habit of checking my favorites on a daily basis. As I know many of you understand, I found companionship and new ideas. They often make me smile.

So, I am very sad when a blog ends. It's like losing a friend. It always makes me wonder, did i not comment enough? Was I not responsive enough? One day a friend is there, and the next day there is just an empty space. I'm sure they have their reasons... but it still feels like a loss to me.

We went driving again; this time in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It's one of my favorite places in the U.S.A.

We Went to Philadelphia For A Wedding!

Where have I been for the past week? In Philadelphia! To attend a wedding, the wedding of our best couple friends' daughter. We used to live there, and we saw so many friends that we have been missing. Here are some highlights.


The Rabbi is ready.


The groom awaits his bride, under the chuppah. The chuppah is made from the tallit (prayer shawls) of the bride's father and the groom's father, sewn together for the occasion.


The mother and father of the bride, bringing their daughter to the chuppah.
