This was a big birthday weekend in my family. My sister's birthday was Saturday, and mine was Sunday (today). Our whole family got together yesterday and celebrated. It was a wonderful day... we went up to Dayton, Ohio to meet my mom, her husband, another sister, and my birthday sister with her family.
We met at a beautifully designed historical park in Dayton. We spent the entire day exploring the many exhibits at this National Park. It was inspiring, enlightening and fun. I will write more about it in a post tomorrow. It was a great time to be with family and share the experience. It was one of those times I will always remember.
Today, I celebrated by eating three cupcakes... I wouldn't usually allow myself that much indulgence, but today I did! It's only once a year... right?
