Finally! A break in the weather! It has been the hottest, most humid summer on record here. All my flowers have died from the heat. The grass looks like straw. It has been miserable all summer. Summer is supposed to mean having fun outdoors, but not this summer. Outside for a few minutes and you are gasping for air.
This morning it is finally COOL. The windows are open. You can actually go outside and breathe. What a nice change.
By the way, I came across this photo this morning and just wanted to share it.

Is that photo a warning to take extra care when looking for the pot of gold?

Isn't it amazing that some of us are gasping for air from the heat and others are soggy from the rain. The weather ~ it is a fickle thing! :)

I know, wouldn't it be nice if the weather could be a little less extreme? We are drying up because of no rain while others are being flooded.
