So true Judy. Even the smallest of creatures respond to kindness, love and attention - the responsiveness of a pet fighting fish and mouse surprised me years ago - the tiny mouse escaping it's cage to come and sit at my feet!! That was pre-cat days of course.

So sweet. I had no idea they could be so tame.
They remind me of the feral cats in our back yard and on our deck. They all have different origins but they have formed a little family.
I often think we don't give animals enough credit. We are meant to share the earth with them.
