This is what it looks like here today. This isn't my photo, but the weather is the same. It's rainy, windy and cold. The rain is lashing against the windows, the wind is roaring, and I just heard thunder. The forecast: gusty winds, heavy rain, thunder and lightning. The outdoor cats are all huddled in their igloos, and I think I will stay in the house today.
I just checked the weather in Kona; it's 81 degrees and sunny. I wish I were there, walking on the beach!

Ugh! We have rain and damp today. I feel your pain :)
Word verification: mists.
Wow, mists... we are having HEAVY mists!
No wonder you have Hawaii on the brain. Stay safe, snug, too.
Oh, Natalie, I always have Hawaii on the brain. I think it's in my blood.
I'm sure you'd like to be here in Australia too Judy, though interspersed with enjoyable sunny days, there can be days of extreme heat. We have the International Tour Down Under cycling event in my State at the moment and the teams had to cycle 148 Km over very dry open terrain in 42 degree heat. Most of them had to raace in these conditions coming straight from a very cold European winter.
Pam, I have friends who are visiting Australia now. It sounds like they are enjoying some very warm weather.
