I am watching President Obama's visit to Ghana today. I can't help feeling proud of our President. It's a good feeling to have a President who is admired by so many in the rest of the world. He is a man of the world, who can relate to people of other cultures. I believe that is what we need now.
And I am envious. Our Prime Minister, who started off as a good man, and no doubt is one still, has lost his way so terribly after his desperate need to be in power was fulfilled, and it is sad and disappointing to watch as he flounders.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday !! and we're really proud of him too !
ReplyDeleteHi Judy
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday!
And the picture with your nieces is wonderful... nice to see all four of you together. It's been fun to read about your babysitting adventures with them.
And all that cake looks good too... who cares about the pounds.
It looks like a special time for you.
Sorry I've been missing in action.
I also enjoyed your post about the shade you made for your deck.
Where is your next trip taking you?
Hi Mim,
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you! Our next trip is back to Philadelphia to visit friends, at the end of July. Then in August we will go to Michigan where my husband plays in a golf tournament that is held annually as a memorial to his dad, who was the athletic coach for years in their small town.
Isn't it nice to feel proud of your President again? (hope I don't jinx it.)
